Why do people who threaten to leave someplace if something happens never actually follow through?

Shouldn't Trudeau have declared a border emergency from all of Hollywood saying they were going to Canada?

All of the Hollywood people hate Trump. But black people loved Trump pre-2016. He's mentioned in literally hundreds of rap songs by major artists in the black community

Somehow in 2016 CNN transformed him into Hitler 2.0 and now he can't even be tolerated by left-wing Hollywood even though he's a former President
