Paying in strictly change at Walmart self checkout

Cliffs: videos are circulating of people bringing their big collection of spare change to shop at Walmart then self checkout and feeding it all into the machine.

Cliffs of cliffs: get rekt coinstar.

https://www.dailydot.com/irl/walmart...checkout-hack/

I was expecting the article to say it was as some sort of protest against the proliferation of self checkouts and fewer actual cashiers tbh.

Don't most banks have coinstar-esque machines that charge something like 1 or 2% to convert for bank members?

I'd gladly pay 2$ out of every 100$ to not have to shove coins into a self check out machine.

I'm a coin star pro!

This is how I get rid of change, feed it all into the self-checkout then pay the rest by card.

Maybe it has something to do with local banks, but every bank I've banked at didn't charge anything for me to take the change to the counter and get it cashed in. You can tell it's definitely not the highlight of their day to do it though.

I rarely get change since I don't use cash but any change I do get I just give my kids now

Lol this is a pic I took taking the coins to the bank. 2 completely full Whey containers.

Also I don't keep pennies. So only nickles dimes and quarters in them.

You get some weird fuking looks walking into a bank struggle to carry two large containers. Literally had a cop pull up to the entrance behind me and just sit there.
