Any miscers feel like they don't enjoy things like they used to?

Literally nothing is fun anymore. I am not depressed so I am wondering what is going on. Movies, games, food, TV shows, etc etc nothing appeals to me. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to improve.

I am that way most of the time. It gets better when I do something that engages me on a deeper level... Some examples are reading a good book, watching a great movie, or having a conversation with someone that goes deeper than the usual chit chat. But most of the time life feels empty and useless.

This is definitely the best advice here. Try to get engaged in something on a deeper level, OP.

If that doesn't work, try men.

Life is much slower nowadays due to the slowing economy and broken systems. It's like being on a 10 year drug binge and then quitting cold turkey.

It's the natural course of life, boyo... I used to be hardcore into videogames, but after PS2, I lost all interest in games.

I also used to be hardcore into strip clubs, but now I can't stand them because of the music that these zoomers listen to, and I also can't stand how lazy this new generation of strippers are. So now I'm sticking to massage parlors, and pretty soon I know I'll tire of massage parlors as well.

Yea I pretty much feel the same way. I focus all my effort on working to fix it but am starting to feel burned out now.

I find satisfaction hanging out in my house and doing all the small things. Its hard to believe I didn't spend as much time at home as possible now that I realize how much it costs me every month.

Start playing drum solos on people. Just walk up behind them with drumsticks and start playing beats on the top of their heads, their shoulders, their appendages. Become the 'drum solo' Guy.

I get your sentiment OP but it is truly from your own doing. The world is full of so much to offer. You just have to participate in it.

Also look at it this way. We live in a world right now full of comfort, connection and almost seemingly endless ease. We don't have to build anything, grow our own food, fight for survival, worry about basic necessities, and everything comes easy.

You ever eat so much good food, and all the best tasting treats for days on end and suddenly you just don't like food? You're almost sick of eating so good and nothing is really appealing? Then you fast for 48 hours and then the first bite of food you have will be the most glorious tasting food you can imagine. Just like drinking water after a 5 mile run in the middle of summer. That water is like golden sustenance.

You have to reset your life a bit brah.

Same exact feel here but it's not just because i got older or depression. It's something else. I felt fine all day today but still everything just felt lame/boring. Like there is no cool aura around ever just awkward/weird energy or negative energy. But not cool energy.
