do you currently work from home or in the office?

I'd been WFHing for two and a half years and RTOed five months ago.

Now I WFO and BAU.

I have been working from a home office since 2018, mostly writing books and articles and doing marketing work.

Before this I was working blue collar jobs.

Pre-covid spent 30 years going into the office everyday. I've been full time WFH since covid and we're just talking about going back a day or two a week. Being the boss I'll decide but I think a day or two is fine. Need to offer a decent amount of WFH in order to compete in the marketplace these days for skilled finance people.

WFH since 2018, had to travel to client sites a few times since then. But full on WFH 2019 onward

Interviewing for a new job now and they were trying to get me to come in 3x a week, “but might settle for 2x a week.” I just want to get the job offer and leverage it for a higher salry elsewhere

Just lol. Its a cybersecurity job and it’s almost 2023. You really think i’m coming in twice a week, let alone 3x a week?

WFH since March 2020, been into the office about 10x since then , mainly for social events

no expectation of ever going back and never would FT,

Home 50% of time, in field 25%, at office 25%.

Going into winter it will shift to more at home.

Home mostly. Was doing 5 days a week for a long time. Now 4 days a week. It sounds like in January we are going to have to start being in the office 3 days a week, as some new "labor agreement" (totally unrelated to Covid) was formed, probably courtesy of some crotchety boomers.

Back in office for 14 months. I have the option to WFH but only do it when I have a reason.

In the office and I hate it so much.

I had a perfect work from home job the entire pandemic at a company I’d been with since 2018. I was an expert at what I did, got left alone besides a single weekly meeting and the workload was light enough that I was able to do other things with my time such as work on creative projects, exercise at home, cook decent meals, take walks on breaks, nap, misc. I was living my version of a perfect life considering the circumstances.

But they just didn’t pay enough to survive.

Biden’s inflation destroyed my spending power and this WFH job insulted me with a 2.9% raise. I was backed into a corner, forced to search for work elsewhere. It was painful to have to leave.

The job I ended up taking a few months ago is 100% in office. It’s miserable as fuk. I hate my coworkers. The office is dark, dirty and dingy. No windows. I just sit in a cubicle staring at a screen doing mindless meaningless work all fuking day long. By the time I get home I’m so mentally fried and depressed that all I can do is rot.

I’m actually at this chit hole right now. I wish I could just walk out but obviously need the money.

WFH 2/3 days a week and in the office 2/3 days a week. We're asked to come in 2 days a week, but can choose which days. If I lived closer to my office I would come in 4 days a week.

I WFH for 2020 March and April but started going back in on a regular basis while not many other were. Over the next few months I was able to elevate myself to a higher position by simply being around some of the higher ups everyday while others were "working" from home.

Edit: Our office is actually a really nice office to work in too so that helps.
