lol @ this job market
been logging in to my LinkedIn profile every week and it seems like there's like 10 messages from recruiters every time. crazy how companies are desperate to hire and my profile is not even up to date and fairly messy.
alot of them are offering 20-30% over my current salary as well so I'll likely pick the one that is the best fit for me. provided i dont phuck up interviews which I havent really done in like 7 years. (last 2 jobs I had didnt require interviews, they just hired me lol).
I just think back to the days as a teenager/young adult where I was literally driving to restaurants and grocery stores to hand in my resumes and creating 100 iterations of my cover letter/resumes to submit online for some poverty 35K-40K entry-level job. Taking hours out of my life everyday.
Now I don't even have to do anything and the chit all comes to me. feels fuking good mane. jfl at job searching

Congrats and I see this too but it isn’t healthy for the economy for it to be this much in favor of employees in the job market
I don’t want it to swing to an employers market either

most are scam artists. Always ask, do you actually talk to the client? can you talk to them and get ananswer aobut "xyz"? Most will swirm and deflect cuz they're just middle men reading ads and getting as many resumes as possible.
If they actgualy talk to the client, they won't have problem getting you more info and details.
if don't actualy talk or have a "contract" with the client, i won't sign anything with them or agree to "send on my behalf". I'll just go contact them myself. I'm very wary of who is "representing" me.

I get a lot of messages from desperate recruiters as well but I am happy enough in my job right now though. With the state of the global economy I do feel I should stay put where I am.

I've had two recruiters offer me jobs since I started my current job back in January. It's funny for my situation because I'm in an entry-level position for my field, never had a quality engineer job before, but I get recruiters saying my LinkedIn profile fits all their requirements lol.
The offers aren't really worth it but it's still interesting I get offers with 0 effort.
