You honestly sound stupid when saying a 17 year old is a child. I wouldn’t even consider 13 a child. That’s a Young man. Stop labelling teens as kids, its pathetic

This.

The examples you chose are from a completely different time, when growth and maturity were encouraged. If you go even further back, 13-14 year-olds were fighting on the front lines in WW1. Can you imagine a Western 13-14 year-old in 2022 sitting in a trench waiting to die?

People infantalize teens too much, if you tell them they are just kids they will act accordingly, people enable the immaturity

Treat them like the young men and women they are, a man/woman is age 12-14 In general

I agree. It's not the fault of the teenagers, it's how they're raised and how comfortable their living standards are in the West. There's no real necessity for a teenager to act like an adult in 2022.

Just because someone is accomplished from a young age doesn't mean they still aren't a child. You gain life experience by living it, and no 17 year old has it figured out.

Also when you talk to these young prodigies youll see they don't know jack chit outside of their field.
