Gearheads - Horsepower - 3" Exhaust - Vintage Hot Rod
Finally got my 570+ hp engine set up in my 1965 Mustang with full 3" exhaust Super 44 Flowmaster mufflers. I have installed electric cutouts. My video skills are lacking but here it is. 1st video is dyno. 2nd video is cutouts closed ("smoke" is the condensation burning off shortly after cold start). 3rd video is cutouts closed and then opened.
Car needs 9" rear with a sticky tire. 1st and 2nd gear are strictly tire fryers. If I'm going about 40mph in 3rd I can ease into the pedal without spinning and actually feel the power.
