What’s your opinion on Turkey Bacon?

Obviously nowhere near as good as the real thing but…

Way less messy. More protein. Lower calories. Stays straight when cooking. Way cheaper.

I don’t understand the seething hate for turkey bacon

Basically this. If on severe cut I might eat it. But honestly I don’t really enjoy it so i’d rather eat something else. And if you make a BLT with turkey bacon you may as well just throw it in the trash

I like it better than real bacon

I think people have been brainwashed to like bacon more than they would otherwise. Butchers used to throw it out like the trash it is

Not as tasty as regular bacon, but when you're using turkey bacon as one piece of a well made sandwich, this difference is negligible.

Spam ain't half bad either, but it's the opposite direction - it's the unhealthy cheap option.

Yeah fair point I guess, chicken wings used to be cheap now they are the most expensive kind of chicken

Either way I’m not turning down turkey bacon
