There are coworkers who I am loyal to. The company... I'm just a cog in the machine there. Past about the director level, I don't exist except as an item on a balance sheet.

Too much probably. Small business and the owners are my childhood neighbors and I grew up with their kids who also work with us.

lmao at loyalty to an employer, worse than being a simp to an Onlyfans girl.

Will only play pretend just so I can move up the ladder, like everyone I imagine. Companies know this, they're not stupid. Just like they pretend to care about their employees when in reality they'd prefer to pay them lower wages

Lol @ the chitheads in here.

It depends. I will try to work out issues with my employer. If there's 0 chance of fixing it, we'll just have to move on. I try to keep my employer a step below friends and a step above aquaintances. After all, when you work for a company, you have a stake in the company and how it will affect the environment around you.

It’s a small company so it’s not soulless like major corporations. The owner has been generous in raises/bonuses/time off so I’m ride or die. I learned my lesson though after having the naive loyal dedication to my last public gov entity organization which I’ve watched turn into a miserable revolving door.

You can be loyal just don’t be a cuck.

Zero, but I also work a big Federal Agency so it's probably quite a bit different than some of the brahs in here working for smaller companies.

My job is to steal from my employer whatever I can each day.

Or fuk them over by not doing anything all day.

Define loyalty? I think you should keep an open mind but at the same time remember the pro's and con's of where you work. The company I work for has done more for me than most. When my grandmother was dying I took a few weeks off and they kept paying me even though I said not to and didn't count against my vacation time. More loyalty to the manager that got me hired on. He seems to have a lot of faith in me and if he left and was like "Jason come with me to another company" I'd do it. So there's that, but that's individuals I'm talking about and not companies. I keep in mind the real reason for those things given to me was the people in that company.

I don't exactly hate my job but don't love it either, would say I'm content.

My co-workers seem cool aswell, I get on with them but at the same time I would never trust them or management.

I'm only there to do my job properly, get my money and fuk off. At the end of the day you're easily replaceable no matter who you are so owe them nothing.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

I'm loyal to a certain extent. So far it's the best job I've ever had and the best company I've ever worked for. When I first got hired, they gave me more money than what I asked for. And they've given me raises to adjust for inflation. However, they've also done a lot of things I don't like that really bother me.

Highest paying job I’ve ever had as well as the most understanding and easy going boss.

Loyalty in the sense that I wouldn’t leave for a dollar an hour more somewhere else, but for the right offer I wouldn’t think twice
