Why do urban people say they "love Jesus" but..

Why do urban people (rap culture) say they love Jesus but act like total degenerates all the fukkin time. Like how far up your own azz do you have to be to not get how your lifestyle contradicts your claimed religious beliefs?

Sure, there are plenty of people that claim Christianity but don't quite follow Christ's teachings, but pretty sure rap culture is an extremely common example of massive contradiction.

Same reason why white Christians say they are Christian and love Jesus but do their best to make being gay illegal, abolish welfare and make healthcare harder to access for poor people.

Except that doesn't help with the betterment of mankind. Just because you want to discriminate against gay people and poor people doesn't mean doing so is better for humankind. It does the exact opposite of that.
