But never confuse the quality of the talent of the individuals on a team with a quality team. Depending upon teamwork, it can go the other way in such a hypothetical situation.

ETA the followingbefore anybody could possibly call me crazy. ANYBODY who makes it to that level to being a GOAT-ish all-time player in their position in a professional sport is going to be smart AF. They're not only blessed somehow physically and genetically, they also have to have drive, and they have to have had great training that they've gone along with very well, which means that they are very, very good at following complicated instructions. So, in addition to being talented and capable, they also have to have an "internalized manager". So if there were weaknesses in teamwork, they'd be able to change before midgame, to say the least, and adapt, especially if they put their minds together, which surely they would. But this would apply to BOTH teams. In this case, it could very well come down to which team had the better coach.
