Should I sell all of my crypto and eat the loss?

I, unfortunately, became a cryptocel during covid out of boredom

It was up for a while then came crashing down from early this year until now. I put in $27K and now I'm sitting at $5K.

Should I just sell and eat the $22K loss?

If you sold crypto for a gain earlier in the year then now would be a good time to sell for tax loss harvesting. Other than that, I don't think it is necessarily a good idea. Crypto is probably close to the bottom.

If you’re at that much of a loss, you might as well keep all of it, in hopes it bounces back up.

Now that it’s lower, more people might buy, which could drive the price up, then sell

As somebody who bought BTC at $4k in 2020 and sold it at 50k in 2021, I’m currently waiting for people like you to capitulate so I can buy your bags and sell them back to you in 2025. Go ahead.

Let’s admit it op, you didn’t get into it out of boredom, but the opportunity to make money, like everyone else.

I pulled out everything and lost a lot of money. But it’s still difficult to say if you should pull out now considering how much youve already lost and what is left. One can still hang onto the shoestring possibility that it might bounce back but I think with such a major sell off from the general public, it’s going to be very difficult to bounce back since it has lost public trust.

I got into bit coin a little, but I sold it all at 58k when there were rumblings of its downfall.

If you really need the money, then dump it. Otherwise I would stay in it for the long haul. There's a decent chance it will hit new highs in 4-6 years

Considering selling before year end for TLH and then buying back ETH/BTC and just forgeting about it till whenever. I've already wrote off my losses as an expensive education, similar to lending money to a friend-no expectation of return at this point.

Some of the best investors in history regularly have to sit through 60% drops, what kind of a moron sells at the bottom?
