Home improvements will be popular in economic downturn because nobody has cash to move, but they might have enough to change things up in their homes and decorate.

Laziness, also, people might not be searching for something specific. They see an add, and impulse buy.

It might also be hard to find a specific type of wallpaper on Amazon for example too.

You could also try Amazon to eBay - some people do that buy it results in bans more often than not. At least when I tried it, I would imagine it's harder as it was a long time ago. And likely more saturated.
