Gaining fat in your 30s is a nightmare scenario

I’m 37, and earlier this year I was traveling and ended up losing all my muscle and gaining probably 35ish pounds of fat. At the time it wasn’t that big a deal, because I was tan and having a great time and eating every meal out and drinking 10+ drinks every night for 2.5 months.

But I’ve been back from this trip for 9ish months now, and I still can’t fully get rid of the fat. My muscle is all back and I’m in great muscular and cardio shape again, but still like 21% bf and it’s a fukung nightmare to get any lower. It’s mostly because I have freedom and money, and end up overindulging because the benefits of being in great shape aren’t like they were in my 20s. It’s still not tough to get laid, but it just doesn’t happen as much with randoms. But I’m leaving for another long trip in 2 weeks, and looking in the mirror I’m not happy with my appearance. This will be the fattest I’ve ever been while solo traveling, and while I’ll be fine it’s still eventually going to catch up with me. Need to go back to 15% ASAP.

Where were you traveling for 2.5 months? That's a long time to travel.

Is there a question here or are you just subtly bragging?
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.
