"A middle school teacher in Texas has been fired after a video posted on social media showed him telling students his race is "superior."
"Deep down in my heart, I'm ethnocentric, which means I think my race is the superior one," the teacher was recorded telling students of various races last week inside a classroom at Bohls Middle School, a sixth- through eighth-grade school in Pflugerville, about 18 miles northeast of Austin.
"I think everybody thinks that," the teacher says. "They're just not honest about it."
"I think everybody is a racist at that level,"

Not defending him as everyone is entitled to their own personal beliefs but those kids super baited him. Sucks with him being an older teacher and he probably won't find related work after this. Admired him having a calm and non aggressive demeanor while stating his personal opinion/belief. Sadly in today's world with everyone able to pull out a camera and record at anytime in some cases people don't get the full story and just what is caught at the time of recording. By the way the video is set up and that's where the recording seems to start around, they set him up.

It's like that video from a month ago of black and white people who agreed/disagreed with their viewpoints on their own race (where they walked to sides of the room). Black people are perfectly okay to say they're proud to be black, blacks are amazing, etc, but the second a white person does it's "problematic."
