The pre download was yesterday but on series X it was only a 6gb file addition.

Anyone actually download the whole game?

I read it’s going to be a massive 115gbs. These games are getting ridiculous in size.

Wondering what the point for a pre download was for only a small file. Or is that just like a placeholder so it starts the download when it goes live? Anyone know?

I bought MW2 disc version and all it was was a digital key. None of the game was on the disc. Brb waiting 2 hours to download the game. Brb launch the game only to be kicked back out for a 15 gig update.

Brb game has to download the singleplayer campaign, another hour goes by before I can play the fkin game.

maybe its because its using the models/textures/etc from the base MW2 game similar to how MW2019 and Warzone 1 went hand and hand together.

Yes. It looks ok but probably more casual considering there’s more AI (bots) in it. It’s more objective based. I watched a stream event of it last week and you basically go take over strongholds with AI in them to gain loot. If I understood it correctly the last team to extract wins and carry’s over stuff into the next game but I’m not sure about that last part.


And yea lol, I’ll be back at pubg no doubt. I always go back. I get burnt out on it every cpl of months and have to change it up.

For me, I need the competition of other humans on games more than a good story but I enjoy a good single player game from time to time.

Warzone 2 was 6gigs early on.

Last night Nov 15th it had a 68gig update.

Looks like the small update was an addition of Warzone to the game menu, then the big update will be live at 1pm eat to play.

I just watched a couple videos. It's COD gameplay in PvP battles, super sprinting, sliding, bunny hoping. Doesn't have the strategic stow play I generally prefer, especially in a extraction based mode. I also don't really vibe with the objective thing and AI, gives it more of a co-op feel than PvP competition.

Assuming is F2P I may give it a go at some point over holiday vacation but as of now I am just having too much fun with other games to even want to use my time to try it.

PUBG > All ... Like you, I may break away from it at times, but always end up going back. Vigor is the only game since PUBG released that held my attention for a bit before going back to PUBG.

I wish Warzone would change off of using pre made loadouts.

I know they do it to bait people into buying the base game to level up their guns


But I think the game would be much more balanced if it was like apex or Pubg where you find the weapons and attachments on the floor

Just had an 11 kill chicken dinner this morning in Solo and my buddy and I just finished 3rd in a hectic game. Both times my heart is racing. Absolutely blows my mind that a game can have me that invested still so many years and hours later.

Pubg and apex are like playing chess.

16k hours in online gaming which I only quit after getting PS5. Enjoy online games but I just think cod sucks. Also, I was more referring to the file size... It's too goddamn huge.

played one game of BR and that was enough for me. cant go back to BR after getting used to the pace of resurgence, especially now that the movement much less fluid/aracady and the skill gap is lower

Played for about 90 min until my game crashed... My impressions so far..

- lots of bugs, no surprise there

- If you didn't play multiplayer and level up guns for your custom loadout, you're ****ed. Everyone else has gold AKs already. This game is absolutely not friendly unless you've grinded 40 hours of weapons. Warzone is free, but the free experience sucks.

- there's just too much audio pollution. Way too many sound effects for in game things going that aren't related to actual combat. Very hard to hear footsteps most of the time.

- proxy chat is the greatest thing to happen to battle royals, but it can be really annoying also. I think you can change it to only death comms which is nice cause I still wanna hear people cry when i kill them, but I don't wanna hear some ****in console plebs ****ty hot mic while I'm fighting.

- looting sucks, the addition of backpacks was stupid. Constantly dropping the wrong ammo and stuff.

- gulag is retarded, 2v2 is dumb

- the map is awesome. It's huge, there's so many good places to land. Probably the best part of Warzone 2.0.

- worst user interface I've ever seen in a game

-no slide canceling feels worse although it was probably necessary to remove it.





Overall I probably won't continue playing. I don't have it in me to unlock all the guns and things I need to play the meta. There's too much nonsense in the game that takes away from being a battle royal and winning fights based on skill.

I played several hours last night and we had a good time just having beers and goofing off. I agree about the noise pollution. It was one of the main things about the first one I didn’t like. It can be tamed somewhat by turning the effects down. I’m wearing Astro A40’s with a mix amp so I can just adjust on the fly and not have issues hearing footsteps. Besides the extra loud stuff the audio is good in game imo.

I really like the map and guns. I can’t imagine how much money they’ll make within 24hrs off the weapon packs and operators. If you didn’t level guns in MW mp and just played free WZ it’d take a while to have some loadouts built with everything you wanted.
