Which of these ebikes would you ride?
This is the Honeywell:

While it looks clean and sturdy, it has that one unfortunate feature common in most fat tire bikes, the front tire appearing to be directly under the front foot while riding, as seen here in this action photo:

Which is why the Stompers are more chill to ride, because there is slightly more distance between the front and back axles. I have a single speed version of this frame, and knowing there is a motor to push it sounds f'ckin chill. I would have to put a black chain on it though, and look at the mess that is the cables in front of the handlebars. Even still, look at that sh't right there.

I live 4 miles from work. Not gonna lie I've been thinking about one. Would pay for itself pretty quickly vs commuting in my 6,000lb jeep truck.
I'd ride a regular bike but don't want to get to work all sweaty. I take my motorcycle sometimes but hate getting all geared up for a 7 minute ride. Takes longer to put on and take off all my chit.

I can understand the elderly making use of an e-bike but in reality you have kids going to school and young adults to work a couple of miles further with e-bikes and chit (wtf)
also those speedpedelecs can suck a dink, if you ride one of those you are 100% certain a massive kunt SRS
it's a huge charade

Motorcycle is not fast for a short commute.
You have to get it out of storage, only an idiot would park one on the street. You have to wear thick jacket, boots, gloves, helmet, safety goggles. Then you have to deal with all that stuff when you get to work. Riding my motorcycle turns my 7 minute commute into like 1/2 hour.
An ebike that does 30mph would get me there almost as fast, wouldn’t have to keep it locked in storage, I could just walk out my basement door with it. No need to gear up.

a speedpedelec needs to have a license, insurance, license plate, helmet, ... just like a scooter
also it's not allowed to ride on a sidewalk with neither and you'd better secure your speedpedelec as well brah those things cost more than a scooter lmfao (ded srs)
so over here they're really similar
I'll give you the off road bit although I don't understand why you'd want to do this with an ebike, sounds like 100% recreational so why the need for support lol

For all the miscers in here that think they know something, I've been riding my sikk fat tire ufo, that has all of one gear and weighs about 60 dang pounds. One gear against the plains winds of Oklahoma is not fun for longer rides. This thing is really only good for cruising OU campus.
The single speed version of the stomper is to the right of the ufo fat tire; it's being repaired.

I picked up a Super73RX a little over a year ago. Does 30, fun as fuk. I can get to work on it faster than in my car or on my Harley because I can take it on the ATV path through the woods.
Another plus is on those 5am trips to work: its way quieter than either of my motorcycles, no worries about waking up kids or neighbors
