I have family check my house regularly just in case a pipe bursts or something.
if my dad saw someone living in my house he would go in with his gun drawn and give them one chance and 1 min to GTFO.

I can see the the official story in the paper now. A man in his 80's was checking on a family members house and was attacked by trespassers and he shot them in self defense.

wouldn't even be mad i had to patch holes and repaint.

but if the owner cared about the home why woodnt he be living in it (or have family living/looking after it) or take care of it himself?

Not sure if people know, but some jurisdictions have something called "Squatter's Rights". If squatters can prove that they've maintained the property for an extended period of time, then the courts in that jurisdiction will allow them to legally squat there and WONT evict them.


Squatters have more rights and landlords in Biden's America.

In america, its like 10 to 20 years depending on state. That would be a long vacation. If this happened to me I would just have it fumigated for termites.
