Can't get out of my rut (srs)

Idk why lately, but I've just been in a deep rut. Had these before, but this one is by far the worst. Everything just seems so mundane and pointless. I know I shouldn't complain because I am thankful for what I have, but the one thing I don't have seems to be the crux of my rut. Like wtf are people my age doing (29) (serious). I just work, game, gym, sleep, eat, see family, talk to a few friends, but outside of that I don't do anything...no partner either and a majority of my days are spent in silence. Not depressed our suicidal, but I can imagine having to spend the rest of my life like this, but at the same time idk what to do.

Easy to say get hobbies, etc, but idek where to start. Please help what are you guys doing?

1) you are in a rut for a reason because you infact are not living any life you are just going through the motions
2) dont worry, there is no timeline, you are now at least ON the right path if you dont fall back into just doing what is easy/what you have always done
3) if it takes a year to figure out what you really want to do, that is still FAR less of your life wasted than continuing to do what you have always done

Seriously though there is no set point or time to figure your life's purpose out, but most people never do so at least trying and eventually doing it is better than most.

most people fall into paralysis by analysis when it comes to life's purpose and just give up or overthink it too much
just go put yourself out there and try new things and read some books and it will come to you

Do some self-reflecting and you're going to come to the conclusion that the problem is you. Now that you've accepted that, take little steps to improve yourself. As you improve yourself, you're going to start getting more and more positive reinforcements which will keep you motivated. And that motivation will get you out of your rut.
