Boomer co worker threw a fit because "customer service isn't what it used to be"

We went to get food at arbys and he got all pissed afterwards because the cashier didn't smile and thank him and ask about his day. Was some 20 year old looking zoomer who looked like he wanted to kill himself.

Went on a rant that back in his day, everyone tried 110% and being a better cashier meant more business coming to the place, and would increase the owners profits, and would get him a raise. Told him that they are hiring and he got even madder lmfao.

He is right, but its a lost cause. The product all these places sling is quick, cheap calories for sows and their litter of pre diabetic piglits to slop on. These disease ridden, low IQ, mouth breathing customers don't have the mental fortitude to stop their addiction and shop elsewere. Because of this base of mentally retarded customers, they can treat the remaining customers that arent addicted like chit. Mix that in with entry level work directed at 17 year olds, a soul sucking work environment and the perpetual "hiring" sign...why would any self respecting person show up and work hard?

Moral of the story is go to Chick Fil A as they are the last hope for a smile and someone to open the door for you.

LMFAO, that's because they paid waiters enough back in the Boomer's days to buy a house in L.A. or New York, buy 2 brand new cars, have a stay at home wife and 2 or 3 kids. LMFAO at boomer expecting pay to be reduced to 1/4th, work to be increased by 10x and have the same quality of service. Understaffed, underpaid, and overworked=bad service, MIND BLOWN.

now you need a phd with 15 years experience to get by.

Like, they also paid half of what they pay now in FUTA, Insurance/ Liability is through the roof. c/c processing fees for restaurants are through the roof as so much fraud is used at restaurants then say on a bigger purchase like auto repair. Property Tax rates at least in my area have gone up..... a lot... All this money getting pissed down the drain for things like convenience.

I highly doubt people would cut up their credit and debit cards and ability to have the ease of access, then gain a more competitive wage. same reason we're not in a civil war, our lives are too easy to be this mad.

Twitter has shown how much advertising is wasted on bots. Doubt a 16 year old can even tell how thats a waste of money.
