HBO's White Lotus is not racially diverse

White Lotus, a successful HBO show in it's 2nd season has only white people in it. In my experience this seems to be rare these days.

It's a great show and I often watch commentary videos on youtube from both white and black people, both of whom enjoy the show.

I'm shocked no white people have come forward complaining about the lack of diversity.

Coincidence?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-SAVODNIK.html

'Everyone has gone so underground with their true feelings about things,' said Mike White, the writer and director behind the hit HBO comedy-drama 'The White Lotus.'

'If you voice things in a certain way it can really have negative repercussions for you, and people can presume that you could be racist, or you could be seen as misogynist.'

Maybe he's been grandfathered in.

It's actually good and I consider myself selective about tv and movies. Both seasons take place at an exclusive resort in different locations and it's basically a murder mystery. You know someone dies but you don't know who it is or who killed them. As the season goes on tension builds. The character development is really good. Season 1 is better than season 2 so far but both are pretty good. Great writers and unpredictable events.

There are some gay people in it but I wouldn't call it a gay show.
