Worked on these in the Navy. They were pretty bad ass.

Pro tip:

The A means attack aircraft, air to ground, while an F means fighter air to air.

Either way they are bad ass.

I once was working in the cockpit and gluing some flaps that cover the electronics way up in front of the instruments. Were the canopy is really angled. Had glue in a qt can. While trying to get into position the glue tipped over and dumped into the hole and got all over the avionic. Needless to say, that wasnt not a good thing and got in a bit of trouble plus the plane was out of service for a while until it got cleaned out.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Shoot, I knew about the A vs F designation. Not sure why I put fighter in the title. Also, that must have been a bitch to clean out lol.

This showed up in my youtube feed and while I knew about it, did not realize how capable it was. I had to rewind the video at the 5 min mark when they said it had a range of 8,800 miles. Certainly not a super flashy aircraft, but it seems like a super capable aircraft for the role.
