Father of my goddaughter is going to jail in december. Hes locked up for 18months. In minimum security so he gets weekend visitor time and some time in civil, i think its 2 days every month. So thats good.

I really want to be there for her while hes gone so the time away doesnt affect her as much. Ive heard from jordan peterson that the ages 1-4 are the most fragile for a childs development.

This saturday im supposed to spend time with her & i dont know how to act around babies.
Question is how do i act with her during this 18 months so i dont mess anything up? I know basic stuff like cursing is a nono, but thats about it.
For example if shes throwing a fit, whats the correct way to respond so that she doesnt grow up to be a crazy person?
If she wants something do i give it & risk her becoming a spoiled brat? Stuff like that.

Im maybe overthinking it but i just want everything to go perfect. Im a family oriented dude. I know goddaughter isnt basically family but i feel responsible.
My actual family is just me and my sister anymore. So its important to me to see her grow up to be a star
