Rent an apartment in a crusty building in an ok neighborhood

Grateful for what I have. Rent controlled, safe, no druggies or degenerates in the building. Have laundry in the basement

Every once in awhile when I do laundry, someone's clothes will be in the dryer with mine. A pair of socks or an undershirt, once it was a gross pair of boxers. No idea how it got in there, I assumed someone left it inside earlier and I didn't see it before I put my clothes in.

Anyways, I got fukking REDPILLED about common decency, and it's lack of it, at work today when I mentioned this to a coworker.

He told me people do that on purpose. like if they need something cleaned quick, they'll handwash it and then stick it in a running dryer knowing that the person will leave it behind for them.

WTF man.

That gross sweat stained pair of boxers ... I didn't see it my pile of clothes till I was upstairs so I went all the way downstairs with it and made sure to leave it for whoever "forgot" them.

Yeah maybe. But it's not that bad compared to some places. No gangsters, no pitbulls, nobody stealing packages, no neighbors drunkenly screaming at each other.
