Looking for a tough/reasonably priced time piece/watch. Suggestions?

Im looking for a useful time piece. Something durable and not analog.

Been looking hard at the Casio GW7900B

Would be nice if it had a compass but not a deal breaker.

Anyone else got suggestions?I dont want something that connects to internet/wifi/bluetooth. Dont need GPS.

Must be waterproof and dustproof. Something of law enforcement or military standards if that makes sense.

I used to own a Timex Ironman, which was great buy I think Casio is superior?

Yep. It's also the only reasonably priced watch that will hold its value. Don't like it? Sell it in a year and make $3k profit.

Had this one, prefer the w-800H tho.

What I like about the w-800H is that it feels like an f91 but better in slight ways that add up. The date setup is better, it's the complete month, date, and year. Using 3 letters for the day is nice too. Can set an alarm, even have an alarm go off at the top of the hour if you want. Decent light, tho you can get way better for a bit more (don't trust thos pics that show a fully illuminated face lol). 2 major cons is the face gets scratched up relatively easily and the band will break if you use your hands at all for work. The band is easy to replace tho, I got a $10 nylon band (for the love of God don't get a NATO band for this lol). The face getting scratched is something I can deal with, might look to see if there are any glass protectors, tho for a $20 watch I don't hold much hope. The reason I deal with the face being scuffed is that it's the tradeoff I make for it being low profile. I use every single feature on this watch, and don't need anything it doesn't come with. As a tech, I hate anything in my way, and anything bigger than this would be an annoyance. For $20 can't fukking beat it:



Also, bonus-looks similar to base G-Shock and shape is manly, yet not bulky. F91 is too small IMO.

I'm a fan of the matte black gshocks...supposedly they are for you in case in you are ever sniping someone with a gun (military) and don't want your watch to reflect light thus exposing you (prolly bs tbh).

The best glass protector I've ever used was jacked from a snorkel (little rubber strap with two rings).

We would run our watch straps thru the rings so the strap would lay across the glass.

Beefy and original.
