Citizens get the politicians they deserve.

In history many countries have had honorable and just leadership. But they usually don’t come in the form of democratic leaders. Democracy attracts trash.

a politician can be anybody. The person you trust most could choose to run for office. Would that automatically make them bad?

your problem is likely that you can't identify or tend not to care enough to vote for good politicians
Is there no limit to what people will believe if it is prefaced by the phrase,
"Scientists say" ?
