Nothing really happens. Most times they just sell your debt to a collect agency and they call you non-stop to get the balance you owe. After 7 years it's gone, since the collection agency paid your debt off. (Ded fkn Srs)

Not really. I heard you can negotiate medical bills to 5-10% with minimal skill.

must go into your estate or something if you pass. i know certain debt does. i think medical may not. and a house doesn't. but everything else i think does unless you have a partner that can transfer their name to it

way too many people would be doing that chit otherwise

I have a friend who owes $30,000 total among like 5 different credit cards and he told me this as well. I told him it’s probably not a good idea… but you’re saying he can get away with it?

i've paid off numerous credit cards after racking up large amounts of debt on only to be put back into the cycle again. Kind of tired of paying them right now and debating if i should even care to pay them off anymore

You can turn it into a payment plan.

If you can't pay the payment plan then you have to call the IRS and let them know they'll figure something out for you.

In general, the IRS has 10 years to collect unpaid tax debt.

If it's not paid then it's wiped out.

The IRS can garnish up to 50% of wages or force you to sell property or seize it.

My dad once did this. His lazy ass went office space and ran up like 10 credit cards. He was like what can they do? Well they made him go to court and file bankruptcy. Some Italian guys got him out if it. They said your dad is a friend of the family. You are ok. Yeah lmao
