I'm convinced drinking spirits is the best way to cure illness

Think about it, if you're used to poisoning your body on the daily with bourbon rum and gin etc, then your body already knows what to expect and how to handle it

But when some airborne virus or microscopic bacteria or whatever decides to enter your body, it's gonna nope tf out of there real quick if its getting doused with heavy duty alcohol

Up to a certain point I think what you are saying does make sense but it needs to be about balance as too much can't be too good for the immune system and body... having a hot toddy when feeling under the weather does make sense but slamming back to back shots of vodka or tequila, maybe not so much

Perhaps, but if you're perpetually killing off every single organism by having a blood alcohol level off the charts, you won't ever have to worry about nothing.

Seriously tho, even if you drink 96% alcohol, it will get diluted in the gut, and the blood and the rest of your body will have such a low concentration of alcohol in it, it couldn't kill a single microbe, even if you drank yourself to death.

I had a 2 day hangover from a half bottle of Dalmore 2 weeks ago. I haven't had a drink since. My body hated me.

Drinking is fun but the older you get the more of the following day is a wash. Was hungover yesterday and may as well have just slept all day. Got some sh!t done but nowhere what I usually do.
