would it be weird if I contacted my hairdresser?

disclaimer, I'm on day 3 of no-fap so I might not be thinking with a clear head, but anyways I've been going to my hairdresser for a while now (about a year) for a haircut and not gonna lie, shes pretty fukin attractive (not only in terms of looks). We always small talk while I'm there but she might just be friendly lol...I never made a move coz I dont want to be "that guy" but then again def would not mind escalating, kinda feel like we would hit off but again its kinda risky, shes really good and gives me perfect haircut every time, dont want to find a new one if it turns out that shes not interested in me.

should I add her to FB messenger and just try to start a casual conversation to see if she reciprocates??

I'm of the opinion that you have 1 interaction to escalate a situation with a sloot if you are seeking to be filed as a Chad in her mind, if you see her regularly you're going to be categorized as either a BetaBux potential provider (like dudes who meet their bitch at work knowing full well she's been getting rekt all weekend for the entire time she's known them) or friendzone/orbiter. There are outliers, like everything, so I say go for it but just be ready for her to act like you've totally misinterpreted the signals she's probably certainly giving you and now you need to find a new barber.

The "social media add escalation" is the 2022 version of the "hug close" lmfao. No brah. In-person only. Just show up there randomly say you were in the neighborhood and ask if she's free for a coffee. Like I said, you're probably looking at a >96% rejection rate for attempts of this nature but you should always go for it because numbing yourself to the sting of rejection is one of the most important parts of slaying srs.

Finding a good hairdresser/barber is difficult. Also don't just add her on fb and send random messages out of the blue lol

Next time you're getting a cut find a way to find out if she's single. Don't just randomly ask her out, build some rapport, get a fun convo going then think of a way to invite her out for drinks or whatever she likes doing...

OP has already been going to this hairdresser (JFL) for a while now so either the rapport is built or it's not. He's not going to go from orbiter rapport to Chad rapport. It's happened maybe 35.0 times in human history.
