Read a quote recently, something I’ve thought about before. Opinions welcome
“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed – in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.“

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
None of the above constitutes legal advice nor should be interpreted as such.

idk.. it kinda depends on the society doesn't it?
this kind of implies a dirty/ deceitful society, no?
does anybody know everything? so in a way, we're all ignorant.
they also say ignorance is bliss. meaning once you learn the intricacies you learn the dirtiness and possible stuff you dont want to know about..so as long as the ignorant people don't get involved with others they could theoretically stay happy
at the very least, i think ignorance in the sense that you quoted has to encounter some sort of evil. either they are unaware of it themselves and or others doing it. and that is damaging. like a person inflicting harm without realizing so.
however, one could argue all humans do that with eating ha. so, again, we're all ignorant

Sup Adam, hope you are well bro.
My thoughts - stupidity or malice, which one is more damaging.
I think neither - the same action caused by either is equal in consequence. The real deciding factor is the INTENT.
But in the long run;
If you are stupid and make a mistake, hopefully you, or someone down the line will learn from it, change/improve etc.
If you act out of malice, you will do it again and again until you suceed, and someone down the line will follow you.
It's the motivation behind the action.
Have a great night!
