Would you go to a party when everyone is way above you in life….

Let’s say you were invited to a party and the party is gonna have some of the most successful guys in the city there. Would you bother going if you’re nowhere close to them financially and clout wise.

Yes there is the party you absolutely must attend. Don't be bitter or jealous, try to be a positive person and make some contacts. We all know it's who you know not what you know. They hire and promote who they like.

Some of the best people are at these parties

I would go and try to learn a thing or 2

Successful people aren't the enemy... They are better for a reason... try and figure out why

That was my thinking too it’s a good opportunity to network. Make contacts etc. I actually would really like to make some contacts where I’m invited to some of the top parties in town, but that’s not really likely unless you’re part of that crowd that has the money.

Sounds like 90% of the social scenes I attended in LA, where everyone is some elite prick, and all the sloots are their orbiters.

You say that like it's a bad thing. People like that are easy to make as contacts, because all you need to do is suck up to them and build upon positively to all their opinions.
