Not looking good for Mississippi State Coach Mike Leach

Mississippi State University Head Football Coach Mike Leach had a personal health issue at his home earlier today (Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022). That issue led to a decision to transfer Coach Leach to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson by ambulance. That is the extent of information that MSU has available regarding Coach Leach's condition, and the university will make no other comment at this time other than to say that the thoughts and prayers of the university are with Mike and Sharon and their family.
MSU President Mark E. Keenum and Interim MSU Athletics Director Bracky Brett have conferred, and the decision has been made to place MSU Defensive Coordinator Zach Arnett in charge of the MSU football team until Coach Leach returns. Practice for the ReliaQuest Bowl game and recruiting operations will continue.
MSU will issue additional information via social media when it becomes available.

It sounds like he suffered a major stroke or brain bleed or something. He was transferred to a hospital with a neurosurgery specialty.
Ole Miss coach Lane Tiffin said the following, which was later taken down due to sounding too past-tense I guess:
"Truly loved him and every minute I was around him," Kiffin said in the original post. "Can't believe I was just hugging him a few weeks ago. Having coached with his former players and coaches they always said amazing things about him...I just keep hoping somehow it's not true. I can't picture not having the pirate around to text and laugh with."
For the brahs that are unaware about college football, Coach Leach is an absolute character. He's had a lot of great quotes throughout the years, like this one about his players' "fat little girlfriends"
Swing your sword, coach

Def vax related. A friend of mine had the whole brain bleed BS after his shots. Thankfully he survived after surgery.
