Overall, medium.
Honestly depends on the steak/cut though.
Anything more tough like a skirt steak or top sirloin it's medium rare.... cut thin.
But most cuts I'd order like NY Strip/Kansas City, Filet, Ribeye, etc. I'm all about medium.
Most places (even nice steakhouses) are so afraid of over cooking the steak, that a medium order will often nudge towards medium/medium-rare.

Depends on the cut. A fillet should be rare, rumps and sirloins medium rare and a ribeye medium.
