Does creatine loading give you bros the boom boom guts?

Title. Day 4 of 20g/day for a week to fill my system. Every trip to the bathroom has been the beginning of Saving Private Ryan.

Is that what’s causing it? Any work around or just champ it out a few more days?

I just always just do 5 mg/day. I've read (Jordan Feigenbaum with barbell medicine maybe?) that loading doesn't really help.

Regardless, every time I start creatine it takes a few days before everything is normal and every time I stop, I have the same issue but in reverse. As long as I'm pretty consistent I tolerate it OK. Actually, works pretty good for camping trips. Go camping, stop creatine, don't have to poop till I get home.

Unsure. I thought "loading" creatine was a disproven meme, just like "needing to cycle off" of it.

Same with the 6g+/day meme dosing guidelines.

Honestly creatine is one of the few good/worthwhile supplements, but I'm pretty sure all perceivable gains (diminishing returns) happen at like 3g/day without any need to load at the beginning.

Edit: fukk also did mg/g nobody lifts

Interesting. I haven’t been taking it for a while so thought I would try loading. In the past I’ve just done maintenance 5G/day with no loading and accepted that it might take a little longer to hit optimal levels in my system.

I wouldn't bother with loading and yes, larger daily dosages can cause gastrointestinal issues/discomfort. Do 5g a day and you'll hit your levels at around the 3 week mark.

Sitting here with a blown out SI joint that's finally healing. Light sets of 15 on PF machines for me right now. No creatine anytime soon.

I really can't answer your question but your description of your bathroom visits was haram and pungent in nature. Very vivid imagery.
