Really depends on when the flight gets in and what’s open, sometimes it’s just the hotel bar

I do it pretty often on work trips. Brb find nice restaurant, sit at bar, strike a convo with other people or bartender. Do not be a loser staring at your phone.

Threads like this show how many of miscers lie about being 10K per day CEOs.

So many times I've been alone on work related trips and want to try a nice place that I don't have near me. I call for a reservation or just walk in if early enough.

Host asks how many, just one tonight, yes sir right this way. Usually server knows what's up, asks where you live, how long you're in town etc. Many times they talk to you more than normal, since they aren't interfering with the table discussion.

I usually have a book with me or catch up with the days news on my phone. No cares given, most people are too interested in their own affairs to even notice anyway.

I feel incels or losers would be less likely to eat by themselves because they're self-conscious of the fact and don't have the confidence.
