As of now it doesn't look like it, but time will tell. The models always shift around a bit. A white Christmas in Texas is asking a lot haha.

I hope I get a 4 day weekend out of this. I have snow tires but my Nissan Sentra ain't plowing through 20+in of snow.

As a former Cali-brah, I honestly don't get the winter hate. Just wear a nice coat and you're good to go. Only thing that sucks is driving in an active snow storm. I honestly dig the change of pace.

I love snow too, but most of our winters are just cold and gloomy, with little to no snow.

I never understood people who said stuff like this. Some part of your body is always cold in winter. And when you finally get inside you're too hot from the layers. Wearing layers is also uncomfortable af.

I probably have a high tolerance for cold weather or something. First thing I think when I step out is "Man that's brisk!" I fecking love it. 6 months of dead cold winter would suck ass for sure tho.

Been looking at the models. Still waiting to see what the Nam and HRRR say about this though. It is going to be brutally cold in much of the midwest regardless of how much snow there is. -20 to -30 windchills easily.

And I think snow is fun in moderation. But I saw some model comparing the coming snow to the blizzard of 1978.

I just realized that this was probably the winter that triggered my in-laws to sell their property in WI and go buy a motel on the Gulf Coast. They have a lot of stories from running that motel though.

Yup. Of course most the models are a bit mixed but overall it looks like a large amount of snow.

You're right about the wind chill/wind gusts. Will be brutally cold after it blows through. Going to have to deal with snow drifts by me.
