Honestly I'm still just using good ol' Optimum Nutrition.

There was a thread way back in the day where someone did genuine independent testing of a bunch of different brands of protein. Effectively none of them had greater than 90+% of their claimed protein content (majority were in the 55-85% range), and many had a ton of unlisted fillers/sugar/etc.

A decade ago Optimum Nutrition was the best value when you looked atactualprotein content as well as other ingredients. I don't know if that is the case now or not, but I figure it probably hasn't gotten any worse since then, since "fitness" has become mainstream comparatively speaking.

It's not the absolute highest quality/true protein content, but back then it had almost zero additional/unwanted components and was just a bit lower than advertised on protein content. And price per gram was/is still very good.

dymatize iso 100 hydrolized is the best quality and the price for the quality is unbeatable.

My digestion gets thrown off by whey now so this is the easiest on digestion and also the best absorbed protein powder.

None. All of my best gains always happened when I was barely worrying about sups at all, srs. I say that as a guy who used to bike 20+ miles a day on my mountain bike for work and the gym in round daily trips, always carrying protein powders/etc. with me for post gym meals.

All of this is true. That being said, even Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard has been retardedly overpriced for like a decade now.

Wow we've gone almost a full page without "I oNlY eAt REAL foOd!!1" must be a new misc record.

I get whatever is on sale as protein powder is getting out of hand on inflation and all. Currently have like 5 different brands in my stock srs. Nutricost, VitaminShoppe ********, some stuff I got from iHerb, something called Body right I got on sale because it was expired, lol.

Keep an eye on Slickdeals as they have had sales on a lot of different protein powders lately. I think they had Dymatize and MuscleMilk on sale a couple days ago

Lol myprotein had the biggest price increase I have seen by far. 11 lb bags are now like $240. I think they started selling them by servings instead of pounds now, lol.

if you read the labels on your protein you can get ones that are just whey, flavors and digestive enzymes. It LITERALLY is shelfable powdered food, not a supplement.
I know MANY people now who dont even work out who drink protein shakes as meals. It just isnt satiating like a "meal" because it lacks fats and carbohydrates and is low volume and digested rapidly.

Been using Dymatize for 5+ years now, but their cafe mocha flavor has been out of stock and or ridiculously priced for the past year or so. On my hunt to find a good coffee flavored protein I came across Revolution Nutrition (from Quebec) and ordered a 6lb tub. Just received it yesterday. I hope it is tolerable as almost everything besides Dymatize I get tired of pretty quick. Optimum is also solid.

I will say this - without knowing the "true" content in a serving, Premier Protein makes a delicious coffee protein with caffeine in it.

I'll knock one back in the morning if I don't feel like getting up five minutes earlier to make actual coffee.

Take a look at it if you're not satisfied with the Revolution offering.
