I Even cringe at myself for still having a dog 6 months into my son’s life. To make matters worse i had a pitbull mix. Dog was friendly to all people & I never let them alone in the same room or anything like that. But still. There is a risk involved.

Looking at the list of every fatal dog attack in USA from 2020-2022 should be a warning sign to any dog owner that has a baby or has One on the way.
Several of these dogs have mauled infants that were in their grandparents or mothers hands. These are dogs with no Prior incidents like that. Others had taken in Stray dogs that mauled their 5-7 yr olds to death within days.

Stop assigning human attributes to animals. A sick perversion only found in the West. Dogs obviously are innocent as they have no free will & are domesticated wild animals. 100% of the blame falls on the PARENTS!

Agreed with bigger dogs though. You see all the time people letting their dogs around newborns and young children, it's ridiculously irresponsible. Even Malamutes who are generally friendly can bite unpredictably (especially when you go near their food) and it's more than enough to seriously injure a baby or child. The parents should be charged with child endangerment imo.

Your dog is capable of biting a child tho. If you make decisions based off that fact you would always be close enough to snatch kid away once dog showed any signs of aggression.

The type of people that label their dogs as «kind» or «family member» are the ones attributing human traits to dogs. These are the most irresponsible mentally derranged dog owners. Feral packs with chihuahuas in them have killed several people in Mexico. These are domesticated wolves people are leaving alone in the same room as their sleeping babies.

Thankfully in Norway we have a higher demand than supply of dogs so no dog gets taken down unless it shows severe aggresion or medical issues.

New owners had way more time for him which is why i sold him in the first place. Ngl It made me sad but after reading these dog attack stories i wish i sold him sooner. Protecting your children is the most important thing in life.

Nothing wrong with having a dog and a baby, but cringe at people who do chit like photo shoots of their infant laying next to their pit bull like there's zero risk of anything happening
