What makes him appealing is his songs are usually catchy despite him being a legit MC. Most 'real' rappers suck at making songs and use crappy beats.
I like alot of his chit, its usually in my rotation

You don’t need to be a fan of his style, but he is a far cry from a **** rapper.
From a purely lyrical standpoint, he’s actually considered one of the most intelligent rappers to have ever rapped. The thing is, a lot of what’s hiding in plain sight in his lyrics are just over most listeners’ heads.

Here’s a small taste for the unaware on how complicated his lyrical structure can be. He has layers upon layers of significance in most of his lyrics.

Most rappers talk…tupac is one of the firsts where he extended his voice
At the end of the day its about rhyming to the beat with impactful verses…not so much nowadays though

He has some good shyt. He’s grown on me over the years.
Especially Reasonable Doubt.
Didn’t like him years ago because of the whole Cam’ron beef.

I do consider rapping an art form but it’s one you don’t need to possess musical talent to do. Most rappers are chitty because it’s pointless with no substance to their lyrics. Even his in this very example are dumb.
99% of it is about selling drugs/robbery/whatever material thing which is ultimately about nothing but money when it’s all said and done. That’s not deep. It’s as shallow as it gets.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
