Pretty packed here but for the most part it’s the usuals, just everyone getting back on track after the holidays. A decent amount of new faces though. Either way, it’s important to be nice to the resolutioners. Gotta welcome people to the lifting crew

Strong this. I would go to the gym on January 2 just to load up plates on the bars to show those newcomers who they shouldn't fuark with. Assert dominance early.

This is why I spent as much time and money as I did setting up the gym I have at home to be as good as a commercial gym.

But even before that, I trained at a private powerlifting gym, so I haven’t used a commercial gym in many years.

Thank god I don’t have to.

im getting tired of my current gym and been eyeing a different one that's like 10x the size and is essentially the bodybuilding mecca gym for where i'm at - it's $65/month though. still gonna pay it and want to switch but probably gonna wait until february so i don't look like a new years resolutioner

With planet fitness( cheap) and nice new apartment gyms in developed areas, i am actually surprised.

Used to dread January-March at the gym. Now I have a home gym but the only place I could put it was outside and it's rainy season. Not sure which is worse lifting in the rain or dealing with too many people.
