Anyone successfully quit energy drink addiction?
Its been 5 days since i quit and am still dying smh
Lethargic, can't concentrate, just feel dead inside overall.
When I was on energy drinks, I was the hardest worker that I know of srs.
When can I get back to normal?

I've been trying to quit for years. Had my first Full Throttle at age 19, probably drank 10k+ energy drinks since. Waiting for that heart attack to come any day now.
Tried to quit several times, longest I've made it is about 36 hours. Currently I use that mio energy and stop caffeine around 4 pm.

If you cant quit cold turkey, then slowly quit. Take one and only drink 3/4 of it and pour the rest out. Do this for a bit then drink only 1/2. rinse and repeat until you arent drinking one at all.

It’s tough. Not even the caffeine for me as I dont get WDs from it when I stop. They also don’t do much for me energy wise. It’s more about the acquired taste for me. I love the bitter carbonation in the morning.
I’ve stopped several times and just did black coffee. I like black coffee a lot but have to drink it for a week or two to really get the taste to want it like an entertainment drink. Still, if I had to choose I’d drink energy drinks over coffee. I never drink more than 1/day in the morning though. I’ve known guys who drink them pretty much all day.

This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

I got into the habit once I started working early mornings and doing long days. Started with only one a week on the days I really dragged but morphed into a daily thing. Thankfully I work swings now and only have one early day. But yeah quitting energy drinks with those long days just wasn’t happening with me.
Edit: potato me didn’t even see this is an old thread
