does a janitor count as a tradie?
thinking of becoming a janitor at a bank but i dont want to do it if people are gonna think im a tradie.

It’s often a union trade, comes with benefits and a pension. My father has been doing it most of my life and it’s dirty work, you’re often under-appreciated/underpaid. But you don’t have to deal with the general public, you get to move at your own pace and can do alright when you get seniority.
Like most union jobs I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re going to stick around for the long haul. There are far better paying short term jobs on the market, however if you want to stay in through retirement it can be a safe path.
