Smoke detector.... keeps beeping.

Anyone know someone that just ignores the beeping? For weeks? My neighbors do this. Every time i go into my back yard i can slightly hear it.... every 30 seconds or so.

WTF? Is this ultimate low IQ? I hear this on people's YouTube videos and random social media sometimes too. Like, change the fukin batteries bro.

I have an Indian family neighbor who's been letting their chit beep for months now. I'm thinking about anonymously leaving them a brand new battery on their porch so they'd replace it. Like, I don't get it. They recently got a Tesla and got fitted for solar panels but can't replace a fuking battery?

This absolutely appalls me. how can someone be so lazy/stupid/whatever to deal with that beeping all day every day? A podcast i listened to has people call in, and regularly you hear the beeping in the background. how is this a common issue? the beeping is obnoxious.
