Used to watch war movies around my ex. She had no idea what happened at Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, Midway, Omaha Beach, Stalingrad, Hiroshima/Nagasaki, etc. Knew next to nothing about WWII (or any history at all, really). She would get mad at me for "spoiling the movie" srs.

Amon Goeth was even more brutal and cold than Ralph Fiennes portrayed him, which is saying something.

Brilliant movie with some amazing performances. Ben Kingsley can play anyone from Indian civil rights leaders to loud cockey thugs, to a quiet Jewish accountant in wartime Poland.

John Williams fine score adds to the already harrowing atmosphere.
Cook the man some eggs!

Good thing she's an ex. Once you get out of the honeymoon phase with a girl and stop caring so much about how hot she is, it's really a drain to not be able to have discussions with them about interesting stuff.
