Started watching Jurassic World Dominion since it’s free on Amazon…

I knew it wasn’t going to be good but figured I’d take advantage since I’m paying for prime…but damn I didn’t think it’d be this bad. Wtf happened to this franchise?

Had to stop it like 20 min in to the movie. Terrible acting, terrible dialogue, terrible looking cgi and it was shaping up to be a terrible story. Looks like they made a concerted effort to fit every race they could in to the movie in the first 20 minutes being sure to check off the diversity/inclusivity checkbox. Then they try to make me care about some teenage girl with teen angst in a freakin dinosaur movie.

This series should have ended 4 movies ago. I’ll let The Lost World slide…it had its flaws but it still felt like JP. I don’t know what this garbage is, but it’s not Jurassic Park. I hope a new Dino franchise takes over and ramps up the horror/thriller element that worked so well for the first film. Maybe something like Turok or something original. I’d rather watch the latest paleo documentary than this chit.

JP franchise died with the third movie

Actually one of the ones I saw this last decade wasn’t terrible and atleast took me back a bit. But I remember being a kid having seen the first two in theaters and being totally pumped, but when the Trex was loose in San Diego I was just like “k this is too far”.

Dang bruh…I could tell from the reviews when this was in theaters that I was never going to pay to watch this. I was hoping people were just being too harsh…I was wrong.

I watched it and had trouble paying attention.

That's pretty unusual for me.

There's no reason why having a park filled with dinosaurs story, can't generate "realistic" stories about a park full of dinosaurs.

The writers don't seem to have any imagination.

I was a huge JP fan as a kid. The up's and downs of the franchise really suck.

JP- obviously a great movie

JP2 The Lost World - okay movie, but the book was incredible. Could have been been legendary if the screenplay just stuck to the fkkn book plot and characters

JP3 - I have no idea how you ruin a movie with Vince Vaughn, Julianne Moore, and Jeff Goldblum... but they did

JW - Extemely fun popcorn flick, could rewatch multiple times

JW2 - I'm not even sure if there was a screenplay. Could have just been improv for as bad as it was.

JW3 - I literally skipped watching it because I'm so sure it's gonna be fkkn terrible

Wife and I legit walked out of this movie. Awful....so stupid. I'm angry just thinking about how terrible it was.

Feel the same way about Fast X coming out. Racing died with Tokyo Drift and will just watch it to put it to bed, although there's supposed to be a final 11th. It's become too much of we need to save the world from certain destruction nothing to do with racing at all.

Shame all the old actors showed up for the biggest cash grab/****tiest of all the new ones by far. Should have came back for the first one in limited respects.

Then again, they might have figured this was the only way to bring people to see this one after the last one which was pretty bad.
