It never started out that way, it would always start innocently and they'd move in for the kill. If I pumped the brakes they'd pull the "moving out" "abusive" "separated" cards. I eventually learned it's just the MO of women who want to get piped outside of marriage. Make up their actual relationship status and then post on FB how they're the love of their life. Now I'm super careful and don't have female work friends anymore, too stressful. The last one who tried always held my bicep and would say "hey sexy" whenever I clocked in. Husband and 3 kids. Now, except the RN with the cop husband. I fell for her, knew it was wrong, tried to walk away, then she left her husband and immediately hopped into my arms. Philosophically, this is closer to how I feel, but I do get OP's side, too, a bit.

Women just want to look good sometimes, and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with looking good for other men. Sometimes, sure, but not always. My wife did 6 pregnancies and is within 5 lb of her weight on the day we got married (20 years in June). If she wanted a mommy makeover - she's told me before that she didn't want one but could see the appeal - I would try to talk her out of it. She is attractive to me as she is. I guess I'm just a fan of natty aging. We all get old and will all look it eventually.
