This Video Pretty Much Sums Up A Lot Of Our Issues

Pretty obvious at this point but it really does hit the nail on the head.

I think the other thing I take away from this is that social media, media consumption, thinks like alcohol/pills/weed/porn, have created a numbed human existence that lives without humanity. Actual humanity and not the fake social media humanity that needs to be video'd. Hence why the main little guy here actually cries when that chick dies vs. everyone else not really even caring. Vanity makes you plastic on the inside.

Yup I've seen that video. I've taken a lot of exposure to any msm and any crap out of my life. Still have a bit to go, but I think the more people are actually aware of it then they can combat some of the chit that is pushed on us.

I mean look at music nowadays and even in the past. You start singing along as a kid not knowing what you're singing, then you look at the lyrics like wtf is this chit about? Like "Jump" by Van Halen.

Elites know we're easier control when glued to our screens. There is no way they would be on top if people werent so divided and distracted. This entire matrix is perfectly orchestrated

War is a different beast all together.

I'm talking about immediate culture. Most people don't know or hate their neighbors now. People have numbed themselves into isolation in cities with millions of people. This chits horrible.

Basically the rat race version of the video in OP. Painfully accurate.

Exactly. Peasants vs. elites. Stay glued to your phones and sportsball peasants. Don't worry about our money printer and decriminalizing crimes.

I've been thinking about this for years and it's something that keep coming to the front of my mind every now and then. I hate that I'm desensitized to death as a result of hearing about famous/infamous people dying, on a 3x a week basis, it seems. I have such a non-reaction when I hear that about someone I grew up watching, listening to, etc. just kicked the bucket and it genuinely worries me.

Yea it's funny you also point that out because I notice this as well. I saw a video that brought up the 10 commandants and I believe the second one is love thy neighbor as thyself. Not saying or thinking I should just be sad and weary at all deaths, but moreso having more actual compassion to those around you. Desensitized is the correct word I believe. Social media has sort of warped our mind into seeing so much this stuff without the real world connection that when we do see it in real life...there isn't much connection.

It's a weird realization tbh.

Yea there's typically always some sort of "grabble" in these things, but the main idea is pretty accurate and each little theme has its place.

Yea the themes of it are pretty spot on. Shows how much media/social media has taken away our actual human factor and thought process.

The more and more I think about it, the more I hate everything and how it’s become.

Last Sunday I was with three of my buddies and every single one of them was on their phone, it’s completely fuked.

My favorite place to go is any place without cell phone service, can’t even do anything if you wanted as far as internet goes.

I do like having music though..

Sure in that sense it is horrible. Cities are alienating and isolating. But I would argue that on the whole, people are leas violent and brutal to each other. We just need to foster that sense of community again.
