Anyone deal with super itchy anus? srs

Been itching over the last 4 months, been getting really bad lately.

Tried cortisone cream. Didn't help one little bit.
Tried pretty much never using TP, just washing in shower every time. Feel like it's made it even worse.

New method as of today is go completely back to old school, regular tp usage, no excessive cleaning (we went thousands of years as a species without all this stuff)

Reps for life for any magic solutions.

Interesting, I have a chronic itchy grundle that's periodic now. Been this way for like two years, with other odd transient symptoms. I think it's a side effect of stress and fallout from stuff like lockdown chit, little socializing. What's your stress/social life like?

i find it very, very unlikely. I have 0 other symptoms, never seen anything in stool, plus the itching goes hand in hand with wiping etc. Definitely feels like some kind of skin irritation.

Everything is good. No real stress.

All started approx 5 months ago when I had the chits for 1 week, and I rubbed my angus raw from wiping 15 times per day. I started showering instead to wash, and then it went from pain to itching and I think going HAM on hygiene has now had the opposite effect of irritating srs

Everything is good. No real stress.

Have you considered changing the soap you use on your cigar cutter? You might have just switched itching from poor wiping practices/over wiping for soap-related irritation.

Is the itching mostly at night? If so, could be pinworms which crawl out of the anus at night and lay their eggs on nearby skin.

Yea I considered that, but recently I've been using only water for my cutter.

I'm going to pop 20mg ivermectin tmrw morning just for the hell of it and see what happens.

I've had this problem. Was not worms. I went back to regular TP, no more wipes (realized they are a complete scam btw).

You have to be careful and wipe gently and suck it up and do not itch that chit no matter what. srs. If you scratch it, it will get worse.
Your anoos is very sensitive and it will heal quickly but also very easy to damage and irritate (no homo, this is only scratching related knowledge). You probably irritated it by cleaning up a messy chit one day and now it itches and every time you scratch it will continue to itch.

Good luck, bro. Don't scratch it for 2 weeks you'll be good.

Anal fissure(s). Don't wipe. Pat yourself clean/dry.

The itching is a result of moisture aggravating the broken skin. Pack your ass with toilet paper or something else to absorb it.

Do anything to keep you from mechanically relieving the itch, which will keep the fissure(s) open.

You tore your ******* up when you had the chits and now you need to let it heal while still using it.

2-3 years ago I had a really itchy angus. Like so bad, that one night I nearly cried and told myself I would go to urgent care the next morning. I did, it was embarassing, they inspected the area, and confirmed it wasn't viral, and they prescribed me some anti-itch med, along with a baby rash ointment you can get from any store. I used it a little, but didn't follow through with applying it. To this day I still get itchy angus, just never as bad as that one night where it was utterly excruciating. I've never seen eggs or something suspicious in my feces. I have contemplated going to a doctor or something again. By this point it's literally a natural behavior for me to scratch my angus when a fully private moment occurs. Also, I am never surprised when I wake up and my fingers smell or have dead skin / brownness under the finger nails.

My ultimate advice is if/when it gets to the point that you visit a doctor, adhere to their prescriptions and recommended routines 100%.
