I used to make any excuse to skip leg day. Simply because I hate squats. Having a loaded bar going across my shoulders will never be comfortable to me, no matter how strong I got.

However, I haven't missed a leg day since the pandemic started. I outfitted my garage gym with a lever squat machine, and I friggin' love that thing. For hypertrophy, you don't need to do squats to build legs. Today, my legs are the biggest they've ever been. Of course you can make the argument its because I stopped skipping leg days. But that actually just reenforces the notion that you should do exercises you enjoy doing because you're most likely to do them and do them with intensity.
