Thats Chris Froome OBE, a champion long-distance cyclist. He is listed as being 68KG at 186cm, so is going to resemble a stick. If you ride long distant, you ideally want as little weight as possible. He is a very far cry from the Olympic cyclists who tend to require explosive leg drive for short periods.

Guys like that would probably cut an appendage off to gain an advantage.

Ha Ha, I think when they get to that level in their sport they want ultra thin arms for less wind resistance! But he just looks so fragile, it wouldn't take much to be severely injured if he had an accident.

i always wondered how it's like to be that skinny and just have unlimited cardio

unfortunately alot of these ultra-endurance people combined with drugs have alot of heart-scarring/heart issues.

i'd rather be more powerful over short to moderate distances

With all the cycling he probably has very strong legs/lower back etc.....with those arms and a little training he could probably pull 4X his body weight fairly quickly...and sumo 5X.

His heart is probably really healthy. I know bodybuilders that converted to that lifestyle. Much more healthier.
